Over the past several months, speculation has run rampant over where Magic center Dwight Howard may ultimately land. According to Howard, one more team can be added to a seemingly ever-expanding list: the Bulls.

After his Magic lost 93-67 to the Hornets Friday, Howard told the Chicago Tribune that he would be open to teaming up with Bulls point guard and reigning NBA MVP Derrick Rose in Chicago.

“If I could play with Derrick right now and God wanted that to happen, it will happen,” Howard said to the Tribune. “It has nothing to do with me not playing with Derrick Rose. I love him. That’s my brother.”

With the report, the Bulls now join a list of oft-mentioned potential Howard suitors, a group of teams that includes the Lakers, Nets and Mavericks, among others.

Howard, a five-time NBA All-Star and three-time Defensive Player of the Year, is now in his seventh season with the Magic, the team that drafted him with the first overall pick in 2004. Through 20 games, Howard is averaging 20.2 points and 15.5 rebounds per game.
